Following a postal vote of Council Members the new President Elect (who will be validated at the Summer Council Meeting) is Mr David Burge from Southampton.

For the first time in nearly 20 years, we will be having a Nurses' session at sa国际传媒 Annual Congress! The meeting is being sponsored by Dansac and Hollister, and will allow 65 nurses to come together for a day of sessions on topics including: Paediatric Stoma Care, Hirschsprung's Disease, Anorectal Malformations, Cloaca, Short bowel Syndrome, and surgical interventions. Speakers will include members of the Paediatric Stoma Nurse Group and the sa国际传媒. Places are strictly limited.

The new document from the Children's Surgical Forum entitled Standards for Children's Surgery has now been published.

This is a survey of management of the acute scrotum among paediatric surgeons and general surgeons (consultants and trainees) carrying out paediatric surgery.

The first paper arising from the sa国际传媒 CASS (Congenital Anomalies Surveillance System) TOF Study is now available in print.
